Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church

Because Jesus is our supreme, sinless, and deeply sympathetic High Priest who secured eternal redemption and continually intercedes before the Father, believers can hold fast to their confession and draw near with confidence to receive mercy and grace in every time of need.

The deepest hungers of the human heart cannot be satisfied by getting more or choosing less, but only through a daily, dependent relationship of trusting, knowing, and receiving Jesus Christ, the true Living Bread.

The gospel of grace transforms our community life—gently restoring the fallen, humbly bearing one another’s burdens while owning our personal load, and faithfully sowing to the Spirit for a harvest of eternal life.

True life is not found in the abundance of possessions but in being “rich toward God, ” which means desiring Him and His kingdom above all earthly wealth and security.

Jesus teaches us to pray with shameless, persistent boldness for the “best things”—more of God, His kingdom, His character—because our good Father delights to give His Spirit and good gifts to His children.
